Let the blogging begin.

Wow. I finally did it - I started my own blog. How cool am I? I'd be cooler if I wasn't the only one to read it, but hey, I'm pretty happy that I got my butt in line and started one. I've been meaning to start a blog since early last year, when I went on holiday to America and I wanted to document my adventures to all who were interested. It obviously never happened, I even brought a diary along so I could dot point where I went, I never did. Then this year when I went to Japan, I thought NOW I AM STARTING A BLOG. AN AWESOME BLOG ABOUT CRAZY JAPAN. Hmm ... I didn't even bother taking a diary on that trip. I will always very much regret I didn't start my blog earlier, as my memory tends to remember the bad and not so much the good. But alas, now I get to blabber on about all my other adventures ... online shopping, daily cheap eats, television shows. All the important things. Actually, I'll probably go on and on about how I miss Japan, how I drank too much cider or that fact that I'm uttering in love with my cat, Ninja. 

I wanted my blog address to be 'black lolita', but someone took that in 2005 and wrote just one entry - 'Test'. That's it. Never mind, I have put love at the end of mine, which obviously makes it that much better. Life at the moment involves me trying to justify a reason to buy this Blythe Doll - my new obsession. But of course, I can sometimes not even justify spending over $2 on a can of coke zero, let alone on a $200 doll. I'm hoping I'll receive a sign, which will tell me to BUY THIS DOLL OR DIE. But then again, I do want many things in life, including these new Peter Alexander vegemite PJ pants, this owl rug and endless Karen Walker sunglasses (I have some new ones on hold!). The problem is, these things stay in my shopping cart for so long, that when I finally do justify the sale - it's sold out!. Alas, that rug has been sitting in my cart for nearly a year now. Oh the hard life of a 23 year old girl from Perth ...
